VILLEGLE Jacques

1926 - 2022

Jacques MAHE de la VILLEGLE ou Jacques VILLEGLE (1926-2022) est né à QUIMPER, fréquente l’Ecole des Beaux-Arts de RENNES, où il se liera d’une amitié indéfectible avec Raymond HAINS . Il fait également des études d’architecture. Peintre mais
surtout plasticien et collagiste, son oeuvre est à base de lambeaux d’affiches déchirées et contre-collées sur toiles avec grand talent .Il vit et travaille à PARIS, puis en province à partir
de 1991 et du changement de la réglementation sur l’affichage dans la capitale !
Très nombreuses expositions à Paris et dans le monde depuis 1957 .
