DOUCET Jacques

1924 - 1994

Ami de Max JACOB depuis la guerre, poëte et peintre de la Nouvelle Ecole de Paris. Dès 1947, il rencontre CORNEILLE et fonde le mouvement « COBRA » en France. Il adhérera à
l’Abstraction en 1950 et figure aux « Mains Eblouies ». Multiples expositions en France et en Europe,Jacques DOUCET essaie tout et touche à tout : apparition de ses premiers collages en 1955.
Participant régulier au Salon de mai, au Salon des « Réalités Nouvelles », très nombreuses expositions
personnelles. Il ne cesse jamais d’évoluer tout au long de sa carrière.
